EMIRICUS (born Emir Brown) is a Honduran-American artist.

EMIRICUS was born and raised in Harlem, New York. EMIRICUS graduated from P.S. 200 The James McCune Smith School and Democracy Prep Charter High School. EMIRICUS became a fellow of The Opportunity Network in 2012.

They are currently an undergraduate student studying Creative Writing at Emory University, where they co-founded Free Thought as a Freshman in the fall of 2015.
